Reflecting on Successful SBIRT Work in Rhode Island

On November 21, CTC-RI hosted a meeting with numerous stakeholders that reflected on the past two years worth of work in supporting Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT). SBIRT is a best practice for the early identification and treatment of alcohol and other substance use disorders.

Applications Being Accepted for Nurse Care Manager/Care Coordinator Standardized Core Curriculum Training Program

CTC-RI was awarded a grant from UnitedHealthcare to purchase core curriculum licenses for online learning modules to benefit 100 nurse care managers and care coordinators in CTC-RI practices. Eligible practices include those currently or previously in a CTC-RI contract, as well as nurse care managers/care coordinators (NCMs/CCs) that work in systems of care (ACO/AE).

Update on SBIRT/CHT Grant

CTC-RI's goal is to continue to disseminate opportunities for continued learning, and promote ongoing training opportunities. The continued objective is to provide training as needed in areas such as maternal child health, opioid treatment, and community-based resources.
