Clinical Strategy Committee Meeting: "Primary Care Transformation in a Time of Crisis" Amidst a primary care crisis impacting Rhode Islanders’ access to care and driving institutional fragility, the Clinical Strategy Committee hosted a panel discussion to explore the present and future state of transformation and sustainability efforts across the system. Other points of dialogue included the impacts on staff recruitment and retention, payment reform and looking ahead toward actions to stabilize and strengthen primary care. Moderated by CTC-RI’s new Executive Director, John Minichiello, the panel included Dr. Ana Tuya Fulton (Integra & Care New England), Dr. Peter Hollmann (Brown Medicine), Dr. Edward McGookin (Brown Health Medical Group), Elena Nicolella (RIHCA) and Dr. Thomas Warcup (RIPCPC). |
