Pediatric Anxiety ECHO® Series Kickoff
With funding from UnitedHealthcare, CTC-RI hosted the kickoff session in May for its latest ECHO® series, “Optimizing a Behavioral Health Approach to Manage Anxiety in Pediatrics”. The series aims to expand participants’ understanding of the various manifestations of anxiety among children and adolescents, share assessment and intervention best practices and help providers guide families on managing anxiety.
In this first session, Dr. Amy Egolf and Dr. Sarah Morris, both from Bradley Hospital’s Pediatric Anxiety Research Center, presented a wide-ranging overview of pediatric anxiety and previewed some of the topics to be covered in-depth later in the series by subject-matter experts. Six practices from across the state were awarded funding to participate, with three pursuing a deeper experience involving practice facilitation and a quality improvement project. Congratulations to all of the funded practices:
