As part of our ongoing strategic planning process, CTC-RI devoted our June Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Committee meeting to soliciting feedback from the behavioral health community about where to focus our energy over the upcoming year.
In June, the 6 Road to Equity teams came together to share and celebrate their first year project work. Each team spoke about what they had done to explore an issue related to inequity within their communities.
CTC-RI is excited to announce that 11 behavioral health (BH) professionals graduated from the UMass Primary Care Behavioral Health course in May. The learners came from 7 different RI primary care practices.

CTC-RI hosted the kickoff of our Best Practices in Team-Based Care meeting on July 19. In this meeting, Nelly Burdette, PsyD, Senior Director, Integrated Behavioral Health, Providence Community Health Centers presented on the importance of relationships and connections in primary care teams.
