Rhode Island is one of 18 regions selected by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to participate in the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+) innovation project. The CPC+ initiative is an advanced primary care medical home model that offers an innovative payment structure to support delivery of comprehensive primary care.
On October 24 at the Crown Plaza in Warwick, 400 primary care practice leaders, care team members, stakeholders, and vendors attended the CTC-RI 2019 Annual Conference, "Advancing Integrated Primary Care: Innovations at Work."
On September 24, Debra Hurwitz, MBA, BSN, RN and Nelly Burdette Psy.D presented “Advancing Comprehensive Primary Care: Update on Integrated Behavioral Health Program” to Brown Univ. medical students.
