Rhode Island instituted health care "affordability standards" for commercial health insurers 10 years ago to encourage them to improve the affordability of their health plans, as well as enhance health care quality and consumer protections.
On June 4, CTC-RI / PCMH Kids hosted a virtual PCMH Kids Stakeholder meeting. Drs. Flanagan and Lange recognized and applauded PCMH Kids Cohort 2 for completing their 3-year contract and reviewed their accomplishments while in the program, especially noting that all 9 practices have been successful in achieving NCQA PCMH recognition.
