2019 proved to be a year of health care transformation in Rhode Island, with the Care Transformation Collaborative of Rhode Island (CTC-RI) at the forefront of significant state progress.

CTC-RI Clinical Strategy Committee has been requested to form a planning group for the primary care – specialist collaboration project, including some representative specialists on the planning committee. The goal is to launch the project in September.
The BCBSRI Life Index effort was presented and discussed at January 2020 Clinical Strategy Committee in context of the RIF long-term health planning effort as well as the upcoming RIDOH efforts to implement the pathways to population health model in 3 regions focusing on diabetes.
CTC-RI and PCMH Kids submitted a response letter to OHIC on the “Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking with respect to 230-RICR-20-30-4: Powers and Duties of the Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner”.
