CTC-RI was awarded a grant from UnitedHealthcare to purchase core curriculum licenses for online learning modules to benefit 100 nurse care managers and care coordinators in CTC-RI practices. Eligible practices include those currently or previously in a CTC-RI contract, as well as nurse care managers/care coordinators (NCMs/CCs) that work in systems of care (ACO/AE).
CTC-RI's goal is to continue to disseminate opportunities for continued learning, and promote ongoing training opportunities. The continued objective is to provide training as needed in areas such as maternal child health, opioid treatment, and community-based resources.
In July, CTC-RI and PCMH Kids launched the IBH Rhode Island Foundation Pediatric Initiative which involves having eight pediatric practices implement universal screening for behavioral health areas of focus in pediatric primary care practices.
On October 3, CTC-RI / PCMH Kids hosted the PCMH Kids Stakeholder meeting to discuss investments that are being made to help improve the health of children and families in Rhode Island.
