January marks National Birth Defects Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about birth defects, promote prevention, and highlight the importance of early intervention and care. Birth defects affect 1 in every 33 babies born in the United States, making them a leading cause of infant mortality and long-term disability.
Our Sleep ECHO session was held in December with a presentation on Sleep in Middle Schoolers from Julie Boergers, PhD, and with additional time for practices to report on their quality improvement projects (Plan-Do-Study-Act). Each practice presented their plans for assessment, the results, impressions, data, and plans for the next cycle.
