On June 11, CTC-RI held a virtual IBH Committee meeting. Dr. Burdette facilitated a discussion on COVID-19 and the impact its having on patients needing behavioral health services and on clinicians.
CTC-RI and the Rhode Island Department of Health hosted its quarterly learning collaborative for the 6 participating OB/GYN practices that are participating in the Rhode Island Department of Health funded perinatal behavioral health quality improvement initiative.
The Clinical Strategy Committee (CSC) met twice in June as a continuation of the special response to the COVID-19 crisis.
Over 50 Nurse Care Managers/Care Coordinators (NCM/CC) virtually attended the June 16 best practice sharing meeting. Pediatric NCM/CC who recently completed the GLearn Core Curriculum training program presented their capstone care management presentations. Pediatric NCM/CC were supported in their learning by CTC/PMCH KIDS GLearn faculty member and subject matter expert Gail Davis.
The CTC-RI Community Health Teams were able to receive legal consultation on complex client cases from Jeannine Casselman, JD from Medical Legal Partnership Boston (MLPB) on June 12. Client cases varied from undocumented legal status to housing conditions and evictions. Jeannine was able to provide expert legal advice and guide our teams in the right direction.
On June 18, Account Manager, Emma Romey, presented at the SBIRT/CHT Executive Committee meeting about the Unite Us E-Referral System.
