CTC-RI celebrates bringing people together for a successful conference

The CTC-RI project, Increasing Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Provider Capacity with Community Health Workers (CHWs), kicked off its in-person CHW training sessions on September 13, 15 and 21.
After seven months, CTC-RI has officially concluded our Asthma Quality Improvement project with an October wrap-up meeting. Two pediatric practices, Dr. Concilio and P.R.I.M.A. Inc, participated and made great strides in improving care for patients with asthma. Their focus was on patient education of appropriate inhaler use, medication adherence and understanding of Asthma Action Plans (AAP).
CTC-RI would like to extend a well-deserved congratulations to Dr. Kelley Doherty Sanzen for her recent National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations Excellence in Innovation Award! This award recognizes pharmacists who have shown unusual and exemplary innovation in their practice setting.
Every year, the Commonwealth Fund’s Scorecard on State Health System Performance uses the most recent data to assess how well the health care system is working in every U.S. state. Rankings are based on 58 measures of health care access, quality, use of services, costs, health disparities, reproductive care and women’s health, and health outcomes.
CTC-RI hosted its quarterly September Breakfast of Champions Meeting focusing on unpaid caregivers, their role in the workforce and ARCHANGELS.
