Debra Hurwitz Retirement and Recruitment of New Executive Director

Past Board president, Peter Hollmann, MD announced in October that Debra Hurwitz, MBA, BSN, RN, CTC-RI Executive Director, is retiring at the end of March 2025 after 14 years with CTC-RI. During this time, Debra has led the organization through tremendous growth and accomplishments for which we are grateful. A search committee has been convened to find a new executive director.

Addressing Alcohol Use Disorder in Primary Care Think Tank Series

The 3rd session of the Addressing Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) in Primary Care Think Tank was held in November. CTC-RI was joined by the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH) to provide an extensive overview of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) and their role in addressing AUD treatment.
