At the February 2020 CTC-RI Board of Directors meeting, there were a number of presentations around the vital role that access to safe, stable, and affordable housing plays in ensuring good health for children and families. Of the many social determinants of health, housing stability is among the most basic and influential.

CTC-RI is providing weekly the latest health-related news, media announcements, resources, and updates for our CTC-RI practice and community members during the COVID-19 crisis.
In recognition of the importance of national COVID-19 containment efforts, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, CTC-RI/PCMH Kids will convert all meetings to virtual Zoom video conferencing meetings. This will be CTC-RI's policy for the next 4 weeks. We then will reevaluate in consultation with the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) guidance.
CTC-RI and PCMH Kids programs recognize the importance of clinician and care team well-being. We deployed a Clinician Well-Being Survey for the 3rd consecutive year to help inform our collective efforts to improve provider burnout. We continue to collaborate with the Primary Care Physician Advisory Committee of the RI Department of Health to address burnout.
As we settle into 2020, we want to recognize this past year's members of the CTC Board of Directors for their board service commitment and dedication to primary care transformation. Our new board members are: Benjamin Shaffer, MPA; Ana Stankovic, MD, FASN, Noah Benedict, MHL; Michelle Anvar, MD; Hugo Yamada, MD; and Margaret Wingate.
