The CTC-RI Board of Directors has approved a 2017 CTC-RI expansion. For January 1, 2017, the “wave 1” expansion will include unaffiliated primary care practices that CMS approves for CPC+ Track 1. There will be a “wave 2” expansion scheduled for July 2017 and adult and pediatric practices will have an opportunity to respond to “Call for Applications” and apply to be part of CTC.
Each year, CTC, together with the Rhode Island Quality Institute (RIQI), implement a process to ask patients to report on and evaluate their experiences with primary care. RIQI contracts with Data Stat as the approved external vender to administer the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey. Primary care practices have been working to integrate behavioral health as part of the Rhode Island Foundation grant “Implementation and Evaluation of Integrated Behavioral Health Model in Primary Care” pilot program. Each quarter, CTC sponsors a learning network opportunity based on the recommendations from the participating primary care practice sites.
