July Updates from Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health Best Practice Sharing Committee

Liz Cantor, PhD, CTC-RI IBH Pediatric Consultant, facilitated the quarterly Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Best Practice Sharing Committee meeting on July 16. Pediatric practices (Cohorts 1 and 2) participating in the Rhode Island Foundation Pilot and pediatric practices participating in the Integra-funded Pediatric IBH Initiative presented on their screening rates for selected pediatric areas of focus and performance improvement plans. Adam Pallant, MD, PhD, Clinical Director Health Services, Brown University and Wendy Plante, PhD, Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Services and Pediatric Behavioral Health Integration, Hasbro Children's Hospital presented, "No, it's not all in your head: Messages and methods in treating youth with somatic symptoms."
