CTC Launches Nurse Care Manager/Care Coordinator (NCM/CC) Core Curriculum Training Program
Over 70 nurse care managers/care coordinators will be participating in the NCM/CC core curriculum training program that is being launched from June 26 to September 29 2017. Each NCM/CC has been assigned to a cohort of learners and to a NCM/CC faculty member. On a weekly basis, learners will be completing web based interactive learning modules and participating in NCM/CC Faculty facilitated telephonic collaborative sessions. This combination of learning experiences will assist NCM/CC with developing and applying a working knowledge of care management strategies and using Rhode Island resources to meet patient needs.
CTC Rhode Island has contracted with xG Health Solutions to provide a blended educational learning experience for Care Managers and Care Coordinators.
CTC is pleased to announce that Unitedhealthcare has provided added funding ($123,000) for CTC to purchase access to core curriculum licenses for NCM/CC that are working in ACO systems of care that are not part of the CTC program. We are very grateful to Unitedhealthcare as they have provided a total of $276,000.00 to support this state-wide NCM/CC workforce development effort.
