Practice Reporting and Transformation Committee Updates
Update on Contract Adjudication
PCMH Kids Cohort 2 and Adult Cohort 5 practices will be ending the three-year contract on June 30, 2020. Practices in these two cohorts are eligible for incentive payments based on clinical performance looking at quality, customer experience, and utilization results. Practices have until May 28, 2020 to provide CTC-RI with any corrective feedback based on the performance dashboard outcomes that were presented at the Practice Reporting and Transformation Committee.
Update from Office of the Health Insurance Commissioner
Practices seeking OHIC PCMH recognition status have historically been required to meet OHIC's definition of demonstrating "meaningful performance improvement." By this, OHIC has meant performance is at or above a pre-defined benchmark or performance has improved by at least three percentage points over one or two years. For reporting in 2020, OHIC has decided to move all measures to reporting-only status as it is anticipating that COVID-19 will have a significant impact on quality measure performance. Therefore, practices only need to report performance on the appropriate measures from the PCMH Measure Set in order to meet this component of the PCMH definition. As a result, OHIC will use data from the 10/1/2018 - 9/30/2019 performance period to assess improvement for the 10/1/2020 - 9/30/2021 performance period. This information will be added to the OHIC website soon.
Using KIDSNET
Janet Limoges, KIDSNET Provider Relations Manager, provided practices with information they can use to generate School Readiness Reports to help identify children and families that will need outreach and appointments to assist with addressing recent declines in immunization and lead screening rates as a result of COVID-19.
