Call for Applications: Increasing Pediatric IBH Capacity
CTC-RI is excited to announce a funding and training opportunity to increase pediatric integrated behavioral health (IBH) capacity in RI for up to 8 RI-based practices. This project aims to increase the capacity of RI pediatric providers and IBH programs by training Community Health Workers (CHWs) in behavioral health care coordination and providing support to a practice’s IBH team. With funding provided by UnitedHealthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield RI, and in collaboration with the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute at Brown University, the project will support CHWs to work effectively with families as part of a primary care team. They will be trained to undertake activities such as screening for behavioral health and social determinants of health needs, registry management, tracking of high-risk patients, connecting with schools and early intervention, and helping families connect with community-based services. Please apply by May 1. To read more about the program, click the link here to review the full call for applications. To apply, follow this link.
