SBIRT/CHT presents success to SIM Committee
On March 14, the SBIRT/CHT project presented to the SIM Steering Committee. This successful presentation showcased information on the braiding of 2 federal grants to promote better integration of physical and behavioral health services. CTC was able to highlight data collected to date which includes showing a reduction in the number of days using alcohol and/or drugs at SBIRT 6-month follow-up; a 43% reduction in risk score for CHT clients, intake to discharge, and a 40-50% reduction in depression/anxiety scores for CHT clients, intake to discharge. CTC discussed CHT sustainability post-SIM and presented vision for a multi-payer, statewide network of CHTs. CTC is also meeting with Medicaid, MCOs, and the Accountable Entities to further discuss CHT sustainability ideas.
