RIDOH Primary Care Training Sites Program

  • 17 Mar 2025

The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) will begin accepting applications for its new Primary Care Training Sites Program [link.edgepilot.com] on March 24.

The Primary Care Training Sites Program was established by the legislature in July 2024. The Program helps create a path for talented health professionals to work in Rhode Island by expanding our capacity to train the next generation of primary care professionals. It provides grants of up to $90,000 per calendar year to primary care training sites, helping them train more students and support preceptors to mentor the next generation of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Important Note: All applicants must be fully registered in the Rhode Island Division of Purchases' Ocean State Procures [link.edgepilot.com] system with a current, signed W-9 form uploaded. Full registration is required to receive a Purchase Order and begin work. Since approval can take up to three weeks, applicants are encouraged to complete registration before applying to avoid funding delays.
