January Quarterly Pediatric Integrated Behavioral Health Meeting

At the January 9 pediatric-focused Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) meeting, practices enrolled in the RIF Pediatric IBH program reported out on their screening results, progress and challenges. Deborah Masland, Senior Program Director at RI Parent Information Network (RIPIN), made the group aware of a new position within RIPIN, the Family Care Liaison, to help practices navigate services needed for high-risk families. Dr. Kole, a psychiatrist currently working at the Providence Community Health Center addressed questions about psychotropic medication and treatment of children with psychiatric disorders. Here are links to his presentation and resource handout.
