Updates from CTC-RI/PCMH Kids Practice Reporting and Transformation Committee: Service Delivery Requirements

CTC-RI has successfully moved up the timeline for CAHPS survey fielding to September and October (as opposed to November and December) which is anticipated to improve patient response rate.

Adult and PCMH Kids Practices participated in CAHPS training intended to assist practices with meeting the service delivery requirement for submitting their patient panel information to the approved data vendor (DataStat) by August 23, 2019. Practices need to carefully review the CAHPS training guide as practices have earlier deadlines for completing the online registration form, and send any updated practice information (logo, BAA, data contact persons). The CAHPS training guide includes sample patient communication notices. Practices are encouraged to maximize communication with patients, letting them know that the customer experience survey is being mailed to them and their feedback is important to the practice. 

Reminders on upcoming service delivery requirements for 2017 Practices and 2019 PCMH Kids practices have been shared.
