Past Board president, Peter Hollmann, MD announced in October that Debra Hurwitz, MBA, BSN, RN, CTC-RI Executive Director, is retiring at the end of March 2025 after 14 years with CTC-RI. During this time, Debra has led the organization through tremendous growth and accomplishments for which we are grateful. A search committee has been convened to find a new executive director. CTC-RI seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth. The Executive Director will provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight advancing CTC-RI's mission and annual goals.

About the Role: The Executive Director will lead strategic planning and organizational development in partnership with the Chief Clinical Officer and Board of Directors while overseeing financial management, including budget development, grants, and contract oversight. This role will also focus on building and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders such as health plans, state agencies, primary care providers, and patient representatives, while enhancing the organization’s visibility by sharing CTC-RI’s innovative work with regional and national partners.

Qualified candidates will bring proven leadership in health care or health system transformation, strong financial and operational expertise, and experience in nonprofit governance and community engagement. They will have a deep understanding of Rhode Island’s primary care landscape and demonstrated success building partnerships, leading strategic initiatives, and fostering team collaboration.
