Clinical Strategy Meeting Focuses on Supporting Primary Care Providers in Pregnancy Intent

CTC-RI’s December 2022 Clinical Strategy Committee meeting focused on the role of pregnancy intention in improving birth outcomes and access to same-day LARC. Patricia Flanagan, MD, set the stage with data from the PRAMS Databook, focusing on unintended pregnancy, and then moderated the session. Julie Parker, LCMHC, CCM, Assistant Director, Vermont Blueprint for Health, Amy Ripley, LISCW, Community Initiatives & Community Health Team, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and Rebecca Burns, BS, RN, Community Initiatives & Community Health Team, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, then spoke about Vermont’s statewide program on pregnancy intent and the additional support provided for pregnant and postpartum women at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
