Join the RI Geriatrics ECHO Educational Program
The RI Geriatrics ECHO Educational Program (RI-G ECHO) is a free, practical, case-based tele-education series for health care providers. The program includes content related to caregiver support, goals of care conversations, polypharmacy and medication management, fall risk reduction, community resources, and screening for dementia.
Participants will connect using video teleconferencing to gain insights from a team of experts, participate in de-identified case presentation discussions (submitted in advance by participants), and learn from each other. It is a great opportunity for providers who want to enhance their knowledge, competence, and performance related to improving care for older adults.
Sessions will run from January 30, 2020 (launch session) through April 23, 2020. The group will meet every other Thursday from 12:00-1:00pm. Following the launch session, the course will consist of six, 60-minute sessions, each including a short didactic lecture on a specific topic relevant to improving care for older adults, followed by a case presentation and discussion.
Space is limited. Applications are due by January 21st. Selected participants will be notified by January 27th. You can apply by submitting your information here.
