March Breakfast of Champions: Weight Management and Advancements in Obesity Treatment
On March 10th, 2023 at 7:30am, 90 individuals attended CTC-RI’s quarterly Breakfast of Champions Meeting which focused on weight management and advancements in treatment in obesity, including new medications and community based interventions.
In February, the 2nd Healthy Tomorrows learning collaborative cohort, consisting of 4 pediatric practices and 4 Family Visiting agencies, met to share success stories, accomplishments and opportunities for continuing to improve. The Developmental Understanding and Legal Collaboration for Everyone (DULCE) and Early Childhood Comprehensive Systems (ECCS) learning collaborative met this month to continue learning about the DULCE approach and increase practice knowledge on strengthening families through the Family Visiting program.
Our final Asthma Essentials ECHO brought together 36 participants and was facilitated by Pano Yeracaris, MD.
Our February Clinical Strategy Committee meeting focused on LAN social risk adjustment & community resource platforms. Craig Jones, MD, Primary Care Collaborative, presented on the Health Care Payment Learning & Action Network’s (HCPLAN) creation of the Health Equity Advisory Team (HEAT) to advance health equity.
