Dear Colleagues;
This is an IMPORTANT meeting to highlight the use of utilization reports from the All Payer Claims Database (Healthfacts RI) available July 15 to support data driven change at the practice level. It will only get better from here as we anticipate the roll out of a practice portal in the fall to be able to perform fairly sophisticated analysis at the provider, practice, and cohort level. These reports will be available for ALL CURRENT and FORMER CTC practices at no charge which is quite a value.
We will also continue the theme of “building the medical neighborhood” by hearing about a statewide collaborative of emergency physicians using Choosing Wisely as the backbone for a campaign to reduce inappropriate imaging for low back pain with the aim of partnering with primary care practices as well
Please plan on attending. Each practice should have at least the clinical champion and office manager at this meeting.
