December Asthma Essentials ECHO Focuses on Assessing and Managing Environmental Triggers
Our 3rd Asthma Essentials ECHO brought together 40 participants and was facilitated by Patricia Flanagan, MD. The didactic session, presented by Jim Ginda, MA, RRT, AE-C, FAARC focused on “Assessing and Managing Enviornmental Triggers” while providing clear examples and additional resources. Marie Habershaw, School Nurse / Healthcare Coordinator, Diocese of Providence provided the case presentation which led to dialogue about how school nurses and primary care offices can strengthen partnerships.
Session 4 will occur on January 11. The didactic portion will be presented by Daniel Fitzgerald, MPH, ICPS and Ashley Fogarty, MPH and focus on working with community partners. Marjorie Carges, MD will provide the case presentation.
