Breakfast of Champions December Meeting to Address Unconscious Bias in Healthcare

On December 9, CTC-RI will continue the discussion on Unconscious Bias in Healthcare with Robert T. Jones, Chief Empowerment Officer of T. Lee Associates, an international education consulting company. Robert was formerly the program director for the National Conference for Community and Justice in the RI and SE New England Region. 

Crystal Fairchild, MS Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Human Resources Officer, Thundermist Health Center will talk about her past experiences and the importance of this work to reduce disparities and improve equity. Crystal will share her lived experiences and ideas that organizations can take to promote better care and reduce bias. Additionally, Nelly Burdette, PsyD, CTC-RI Sr. Integrated Behavioral Health Program Leader and Providence Community Health Centers Associate VP, will talk about creating psychological safety, making space for diversity on teams, and what this means for the future of teams.
