Call for Applications - Developmental Understanding and Legal Collaboration for Everyone (DULCE) Learning Collaborative

  • 15 Aug 2022

CTC-RI/PCMH Kids, with funding from UnitedHealthcare and the RI Department of Health, is pleased to offer 2 pediatric and family medicine primary care practices the opportunity to apply for funding to participate in the 15-month DULCE learning collaborative. (Sep 2022 – Nov 2023) DULCE is a universal, early relational approach to strengths-based, family-centered child health care during the critical first six months of life.

During this learning collaborative, practices will build a culture that honors family-driven goals for care during a timeframe often marked by both joy and stress, while implementing strengths-based screening for health-related social needs (HRSN), as well as more effective referral and response through the efforts of a Community Health Worker Family Specialist and an interdisciplinary team. Benefits include funding ($20,000.00) to support a Community Health Worker Family Specialist, training in the DULCE model, Brazelton Touchpoints, and Newborn Behavioral Observations, integration of Medical Legal Partner Boston (MLPB) as the learning collaborative legal partner, practice facilitation, and an infant relationship content expert.
