PCMH-Kids: Behavioral Health Learning Collaborative
On May 30th, the American Academy of Pediatrics RI Chapter hosted the final meeting for the PCMH Kids Adolescent Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Learning Collaborative at the Warren Alpert Medical School. This learning collaborative would not have been possible without the support and funding from Tufts Health Plan and the AAP Healthy Children Grant. Drs. Susan Duffy and Gregory Fox welcomed the attendees with opening remarks, and 10 practices in the PCMH Kids Behavioral Health Learning Collaborative kicked off the evening by presenting their progress, outcomes and key learnings on the Adolescent SBIRT program. Confidentiality issues were a recurring theme of challenges encountered by the practices.
