Dept. of Health Seeking Nominations for Grace Diaz Blue Light Award

RI World Diabetes Day (RIWDD) was launched in 2019 by the RI Department of Health as a vehicle for raising awareness about diabetes and its impact on residents. The event exemplifies the strong collaboration between the many community organizations, state government officials, health entities, and community residents who are committed to decreasing the prevalence of diabetes.

The next RIWDD event will be held in November, with details forthcoming. At this time, the Dept. of Health is seeking for nominations for the Grace Diaz Blue Light Award, which recognizes an individual or organization that has positively impacted diabetes in the state.
