Community Health Team Mini-Series Continuation
On March 26th special guest speaker Allen Dobson, MD, former CEO of Community Care of North Carolina and former Assistant Secretary and Medicaid Director for the North Carolina DHHS presented at the CTC-RI Board of Directors and CHT Oversight Committee meeting to several stakeholders. Dr. Dobson touched on how North Carolina has been able to structure their community health model and provided insight on how it could be applied to the CHT work in RI. CTC-RI continues CHT planning efforts with national consultants Soma Saha, MD, Well Being and Equity (WE) in the World and Well Being in the Nation (WIN) Network and Craig Jones, MD, Capitol Health Associates; former Executive Director of the Vermont Blueprint for Health for recommended design and payment components.
