On 06/10/2016, CTC-RI held another Breakfast of Champions Clinical Practice Champions Learning Session. A major focus of this session was palliative care. The following speakers presented on their topics:

  • 0:15 to 10:45 - Deb Hurwitz: Deb presented on some of the impressive and encouraging data points that have come to light for CTC-RI in the recent months.
  • 10:45 to15:45 - Pano Yeracaris: Pano touched on the potential CPC+ opportunity, which is currently in the middle of an application process for Medicare FFS.
  • 25:10 to 41:00 - Jennifer Ritzau, MD: Dr. Ritzau offered a look into palliative care and how we can better integrate this into the care of a patient.
  • 41:30 to 1:03:30 - Linda Del Vecchio-Gilbert, DNP spoke about palliative care in pediatrics.
  • 1:03:50 to 1:19:00 - John A. Stoukides, MD presented with a focus on the integration of palliative care into primary care and systems of care.
