Effective November 1, 2017, the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) will be contracting with CTC to provide practice facilitation services for the primary care practices that are participating in the RI Chronic Care Collaborative (RICCC) and Care+Community+Equity (CCE) programs.
In July 2017, CTC was awarded funding from BHDDH and DOH to implement Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for substance use disorders by introducing SBIRT screening resources into Community Health Teams (CHT), emergency departments, Department of Corrections and various service organizations in RI.
In January of 2016, CTC launched the Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Pilot Program for Adult practices and selected twelve sites that committed to improve patient screening for depression, anxiety and substance use disorder (SUD), improve access to on-site behavioral health care, and improve care coordination for patients with high emergency department usage and for patients with severe ment
We have great news to share. CTC received a call from Patrick Tigue, Director of Medicaid, and thanks to the advocacy provided by so many of our key stakeholders, the Governor has restored funding to CTC adult and pediatric practices.
