ECHO Learning Series: Best Practices in Addressing Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) in Primary Care
Upcoming launch of a free ECHO® Learning Series: Best Practices in Addressing Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) in Primary Care with announcement on July 23 for applications accepted through August 28.
ECHO® is a dynamic virtual learning community that features expert presentations and case study discussions. This series will focus on strategies to promote recommended best practices for improving STI screening and treatment. Participants will discuss best practices for screening, early identification, and treatment in primary care, expand their professional networks, and have the opportunity to earn CEU credits (pending approval) for nursing and medicine. Sessions are open to all healthcare professionals, community-based organizations and public health professionals. Session topics include Sexual Health and Confidentiality, Syphilis, HIV and PrEP, Chlamydia & Gonorrhea, Hepatitis C, and Other STIs. A $250 incentive will be offered to individuals or sites that commit to attending four of six sessions and a case presentation. Flexible participation is also available with no obligation or incentive payment. Participants can extend their learning through a quality improvement initiative learning collaborative starting in January 2025.
