March Care + Community + Equity Best Practice Sharing Meeting

The Care + Community + Equity (CCE) program hosted a Best Practice Sharing meeting in March with 31 participants attending. Albert Whitaker, American Heart Association (AHA) Community Impact Director, presented on the AHA Initiatives, discussing 2023 deadlines and updates. We also heard great presentations from each of the 7 CCE practices, who discussed their quality improvement plans. Participating practices included:   

  • WellOne Primary Medical and Dental 
  • Wood River Health Services 
  • Thundermist Health Centers
  • Tri-County Community Action Program 
  • Rhode Island Free Clinic
  • Comprehensive Community Action Program 
  • Clinica Esperanza, Hope Clinic
