CTC-RI held a Strategic Planning Retreat on April 25th (in lieu of a monthly Board meeting).  The retreat was facilitated by FIO Partners.  Key decisions included that CTC will remain an independent 501c3. The Board structure and membership will be reviewed and recommendations made by FIO partners.   Areas of focus include current work in practice transformation; the Board approved a pediatric expansion for PCMH and continued focus on integrated behavioral health and community health teams.  Two new areas of focus include: 1) innovation/incubation and 2) policy and advocacy for primary care.  Here is the meeting summary from the retreat.

The mission of CTC-RI is to support the continuing transformation of primary care in Rhode Island as the foundation of an ever-improving integrated, accessible, affordable, and equitable health care system.  CTC-RI brings together critical stakeholders to implement, evaluate and spread effective multi-payer models to deliver, pay for and sustain high-quality, comprehensive, accountable primary care.
